Using SAGA

Discoverer, from Oracle Corporation, is the software that SAGA uses to query the database to produce ad-hoc reports.

Discoverer has 4 versions:

Desktop edition - Allows the users to produce their own reports and view reports created by other users. Works on Windows-based PCs only.

Discoverer 4i Plus -"desktop edition" version that can be accessed thru the Web. Works on windows-based PCs using MS Internet Explorer only.

Discoverer 4i Viewer - allows the users to view reports created by other users. Works on Windows-based PCs and Mac.

Administration Edition - Allows SAGA administrators to:

1) Control the data access (who can access what).
2) Describe the data in a friendly and simple way.
